Part Time Senior Accountant
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Compensation: Up to $43/hour
Schedule: 10–15 hours/week. Flexible hours. Hybrid work model (onsite 1–2 days/week).

Responsibilities

• Lead Month-End Close:

  • Prepare journal entries and month-end workpapers (month-end cycle runs 8–10 days)

  • Some manual entry involved

  • Work reviewed by leadership

• Forecasting:

  • Assist with light forecasting for upcoming periods (quarterly or as needed)

  • Annual budget is already in place

• General Ledger Management

• Oversight of AP/AR Functions

• Use of NetSuite for accounting operations

Qualifications:

• Experience with month-end close processes

• Strong understanding of GL and accounting operations

• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)

• Familiarity with NetSuite is highly preferred
